The fun challenge of working on Avenue Q is that you get to construct duplicate puppets for every costume change the characters have. The script also calls for a few "extras." So as a little Easter egg for ourselves I asked the designer if I could make a Liza Minnelli puppet, and so Liza II was born- complete with her own mini, Halston inspired jacket and shell set.
