Compleat Female Stage Beauty

I crafted this dress for Mistress Revel, the madam of the house tavern. The designer and I wanted this to be bold and garish while utilizing the design elements of the Stuart time period. We chose the iridescent fabric for the skirt to create a sense of cheap opulence and used the green trim to give the garment the over the top quality the character exuded.
